I've seen it now too, went yesterday! I agree, there were important bits missed out, which is understandable as it's a long book, but there were random bits not from the books added in, which really isn't understandable. There's more than enough good material from the books, they even have to miss big chunks out, so they really shouldn't add bits...

It was definitely an improvement from the last film.
It had bits missing but you couldn't really tell
I absolutely loved it!!! ;D

I though PoA was better than this one. GoF had entire storylines missing, without which the plot didn't really make sense - the whole Winky storyline and how Barty Crouch junior escaped from Azkaban and was kept under imperious by his father until overpowering him; that was all missing.

i know, i thought you might have agreed with me janet! i know you like winky! lol! i wasnt keen on any of the tasks tbh, like how the dragon escaped and there was that big overly dramatic chase around hogwarts, harry got dragged back down right at the end and how the walls of the maze kept crashing in - wierd! Didnt like also about the finding of Mr Crouch dead - didnt think that made sense or Barty Crouch Jr's anger - he was meant to be all weak and wimpy! Not angry and defiant! grrr! wasnt overly impressed tbh, i think that to people who hadnt read the books it would have been a good film but those obsessives like us wont enjoy it! Luce was saying that she thinks it concentrated on certain things too much like the ball instead of like the death of crouch and thats coming from someone who hasnt read the book!

Yes, although I really liked the ball, thought that was really well done. Talking of which, I've bought a dress for boat club dinner on Saturday! It's really pretty! And it cost less than £15! Anyway, back to the subject... The whole dragon thing did annoy me greatly, the second task however I thought was good, except the random backflip thing, I also agree that the third task wasn't great. As Dennis pointed out, "Where was the sphinx and everything? And all the other stuff in the maze? It was a bit of a useless task really, all you had to do was outrun a tree. I do that every day!" Mr Crouch's death was also very confusing, I'm sure anyone who hadn't read the book wouldn't have a clue what was going on there. I did like it though! I know I'm moaning, but that's half the fun, I still thought it was good., just could have been better. Oh, and I still think Daniel Radcliffe can't act.

Soo true about the maze!!!!!! didnt like it. I liked it too despite my moaning but whats life without moaning! Hmm, Daniel HAS got better but he still needs to have millions of lessons. Gemma (hammond) thought his crying when he came back was fantastic! i wasnt 100% agreeing but i did think that that bit was one of his best moves so to speak. And i know it was a little thing but WHY WERE THE PATIL TWINS IN THE SAME HOUSE?!!!!! grrr! I thought the weasley twins were the best in it though! "babbling, bumbling, band of baboons, babbling, bumbling band of baboons!!" Ooh and janet - U! buying a DRESS?!! What have they done to you! lol! whats it like?!

Yeah, I know, there was no point in putting the Patil twins in the same house. And I agree with Gemma, that bit was pretty good, but the whole "I was wondering... do... you... want... to go... to the... ball... with... me...?" thing was just funny. The entire audience started giggling. Everyone also started giggling on "Everything's going to change now, isn't it?"... dramatic pause... "Yes." Indeed, I have bought a dress. You may recall that this has occured on at least one occasion previously, since I had a dress for the leavers' ball, and the one before that. They haven't done anything to me. Except possibly by Abigail describing her dress to me made me make up my mind to buy a new one, I'm not particularly keen on the purple one, I don't like it being full length, and the new one fits better. It is dark slate grey-blue, and is just longer than knee length. The body has a layer of slightly ruffled gauzy stuff over a layer of stretchy stuff so it fits close in to the body. It has thin straps and a v-shped neck. The skirt part is again a layer of the gauzy stuff on top, in fact two layers of gauzy and one of solid, and is kind of floaty. It reminds me very much of a ballet dress, wearing it makes me feel like dancing around!

I saw it yesterday and thought that the film itself was good. However, it wasn't as good as it's prequels and they missed lots of important things out. The Barty Crouch murder made no sense whatsoever, however the Weasley twins were outstanding!!

Yes! Oh, and I didn't realise, but a guy here who I don't relly know but have met was Charlie Weasley in the first film! And it's really silly, because he's ginger and onviously that's the main reason he was chosen, but the only time he appears is in the photo of them in Egypt, which is black and white!

I think it could have been better, but I suppose they do have a limit to what they can do with the technology available.
