Oooh! I have lots of rude customers I can rant about!!!
1) People that come in and say "can I have a sandwich" - do they EXPECT me to read their minds as to what sort they want! The same goes for pasties, creams, muffins etc! 2) Customers who totally ignore you! Like for example if you ask if you can help anyone and if they are already being served and don't bother to tell you so you are stood there repeating yourself and wasting time when you could be serving someone else! 3) Customers who come in at five to five complaining that the pasties are cold - well what do you expect!!!!!!! 4) Generally rude customers who expect you to drop everything at once for them! 5) Customers who push in - you have no idea (no idea who was first) which to serve and then feel really bad for the person you don't serve!
.... I am sure there will be other rant worthy points but I will add later!
*rant over*

Few more I picked up when I worked today ..... 6) People who turn their head away when talking to you and so you can't hear what they are saying and then have to ask again and they get adjitated!!! Sorry!!! But what do you expect us to do if you don't talk TO MY FACE!! 7) People who complain when we have sold out of something - its not our fault its popular! We can only make what we are sent by head office/supplies! 8) People who point and say "I want that!" - and what might THAT be?! 9) People who come in and say "do you have any sausage rolls" - use your eyes! 10) People who talk on their phone when you are serving them - this is the bane of all us clecko greggs gang!

I really hate it when you are on the phone with someone and you can't hear them and when you ask to repeat what they said, they do, but they shout it out in your ear. Very rude.

hehe i can join in this one! i) people who get drunk and loud and wont go away ii) people who order drinks then walk off or turn their backs. do they really want the drinks? iii) people who come in every day, tell the same stories and still you have to be interested?! iv) the classic, man comes up to bar. v) an extract from an actually exchange... - soup. - i'm sorry? - do you have soup? - yes, we have soup. would you like some soup? - *acts as if you should have guessed miles before and just thrown soup at them at their announcement* yeah. what is it? - what soup is it? - yes. - vegetable soup, sir. - i'll have that. i couldnt believe it! ;D

We have that at work. I had a customer tell me that I had to speak up when working in a kitchen, because otherwise I won't be heard. I was quite offended! Only my manager can say that to me (which he had and evidently the customer heard). Two of my colleagues heard and thought it quite rude. It's not my fault I have a quiet voice.

No, it's not! And it's certainly not the customer's place to tell you...
