Geraldine McEwan is not the first actress to play the clever, sharp sleuth, who as a retired lady who loves a good gossip with her friends and knitting, but unlike then, has a superbe knack for solving the most unusual of crimes and always catching the real culprit. Both Geraldine McEwan and her character, Miss Marple, deserve much respect for their respective talents. Geraldine plays a very believable and true to life Miss Marple, and wouldn't we all love to be solving crimes at Miss Marple's age!
